Grant Shelby Hubley Jr. is known as an American Actor and a former Financial Planner. Hubley was born on May 17, 1957 in New York City. He is the son of Julia Kaul and Grant Shelby Hubley, an entrepreneur, an oil investor, an author. He attended Buckley School for Boys, Upper East Side, Manhattan. He is the brother of the actress Season Hubley, the former brother-in – law of Kurt Russell, and the uncle of Season and Kurt’s friend, Boston Russell. Hubley now lives in Portland, Maine, after spending more than 30 years in Santa Monica, California. He’s married to Dinah Minot, a former producer for Saturday Night Live, and has three children, Molly, Ella and Ben. He played Mischa in the 1987 film Russkies, and Hollywood in the 1986 film Top Gun. Later, he played Brian Hawkins in More Tales of the City’s Showtime Ministries (1998) and his follow-up The City’s Further Tales (2001). These miniseries is the sequel to the PBS miniseries Tales of the City (1994), starring Paul Gross in the role of Brian. From 1996 to 1999, Hubley played the leading role of Sheriff Tom Hampton in the revival of Flipper.
